REVO Panel Session: Ever/Never by Justin Taylor
Justin Taylor was asked to speak at one of the headline talks at 2019’s REVO Conference, the UK’s largest rental & leisure conference.
We are in a period of exponential change – which is undeniably being driven by the third revolution – technology.
In our Ever / Never session, we will put some context around the EVER changing and the NEVER changing elements that are shaping our future developments and challenging the retail community as it reinvents itself. We will look at how to balance the commercial challenges with consumer trends, both now and in the future. Regardless of age, we are living our lives differently, working, shopping, socialising and embracing technology without fear. There are some basic human needs that have not and will NEVER change.
The EVER changing elements are in how we do things; from person to person and over time as technology, society and choice enable us to make different decisions.
Some things are NEVER changing, some things are EVER changing. At CRTKL we are able to navigate and know what these things are and how they affect design, and ultimately, the success of the new generation of developments.
The world is changing – and we are changing with it.
